Technical Lead

Department: SOFTWARE PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT
Location: Atlanta, GA

The Technical Lead is responsible for the software development lifecycle, including analyzing needs and designing, testing and development software to address those needs. This position, in addition to individual responsibilities, will assign and manage responsibilities to more junior software engineers on various projects.

What Youíll Do

  • Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, from analyzing needs, to then designing, testing and developing software to meet business needs

  • Exemplify our core values and model our leadership competencies

  • Develop and oversee applications architecture by documenting processes and procedures through the use of diagrams and flowcharts

  • Break down large projects into discrete engineering tasks and lead junior engineers to successfully complete

  • Resolve issues with system quality and identify common patterns surrounding them

  • Implement the cybersecurity policies of the company through code and use of protection systems

What Weíre Looking For

  • Bachelorís Degree in computer science, applications, or related field

  • 7+ years of experience in an engineering role

  • Aptitude for mentoring junior engineers

  • Experience working through the entire software development lifecycle 

  • Experience with multiple programming and query languages, including PHP, JavaScript, SQL

  • Experience with web application frameworks such as Vue and React (Vue preferred)

  • Experience with web server and service frameworks such as such Node, Laravel, Lumen

  • Experience with incident detection, incident response, and forensics

Bonus Points

  • Masters degree in computer science, applications, or related field

  • Web application performance improvement

  • Web component architecture and engineering

  • Microservices architecture and engineering

  • Common e-Commerce systems: Payments, Social Login (Auth)

  • Elastic Search

  • Experience with Online Marketplaces
