What You’ll Do

This is your opportunity to be an Engineering Manager in our Dealer, OEM, and Data group, you will lead multiple teams of software engineers, QA engineers, and other engineering professionals. You will manage day-to-day operations and implementations of various projects serving our Product Roadmap. You will be working closely with other stakeholders in Product, Support, and Business groups and be a big part of something big.

  • Develop junior software engineer staff members, providing direction, discipline, performance evaluation, and guidance for career progression.
  • Manage code reviews to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Detect and resolve bug issues, and write code when needed.
  • Create and prioritize the product roadmap and contribute to refining and enhancing the business strategy.
  • Collaborate with partner teams, product management, and internal stakeholders to define integration strategies.
  • Work with PMs, QA, and other stakeholders to ensure our products provide the best possible customer experience.
  • Balance engineering perfection with timely product delivery.
  • Design and implement software solutions to complex problems across various systems and technologies.
  • Design and implement APIs to support mobile and web applications.
  • Work throughout the entire software development lifecycle, from analysis to design, testing, and development to meet business needs.
  • Perform performance reviews and other employee assessments.
  • Manage process execution and ensure adherence to best practices.
  • Exemplify our core values and model leadership competencies.

What we are looking for:

  • 2+ years of experience Managing and Leading technical teams
  • 9+ Years of hands-on, enterprise level experience with at least one of the following platforms or systems: Node.js / JS / Typescript or PHP and hands-on experience working with at least one of the following DB Engines: Relational DBs ( Maria/Mysql, PostgreSQL, MSSQL ) or NoSQL DBs ( MongoDB, DynamoDB, DocumentDB, Couchbase )
  • Experience building RESTApis
  • Experience architecting, building and launching enterprise level complex web and mobile applications
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal with strong analytical and reasoning skills.
  • Ability to visualize processes and outcomes.
  • Ability to tune and optimize code and infrastructure.
  • Understanding and application of various design patterns and principles like MVC, SOLID, Singleton, & Factory
  • Previous experience with Firewalls, Office 365 Security, VSX, and Endpoint Security.
  • Enterprise experience building with Redis or Memcache, Apache or NGiNX, Oracle or MySQL and

Bonus Points:

  • Experience with C# and Flutter platforms
  • Previous experience in the automotive industry.
