What You’ll Do

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented AVP - Financial Planning & Analysis to join our growing team. In this critical role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping our commercial finance strategy and developing creative solutions to support our business partners.

  • Business Partnering: Build strong relationships with key business partners across the organization. Understand their needs and challenges, and work collaboratively to develop customized commercial finance solutions that drive growth and profitability.
  • Pricing analysis and optimization: Analyze and optimize Dealer, Private, Media and SSI pricing models.
  • Commercial Opportunity Discovery: Proactively identify and assess new commercial finance opportunities within the market. Develop compelling business cases to secure leadership buy-in for new initiatives.
  • Dealer Package Optimization: Analyze and optimize our dealer incentive packages to maximize their effectiveness in driving sales and achieving growth objectives.
  • Financial Analysis & Reporting: Conduct thorough financial analyses to support commercial finance decisions. Prepare clear and concise reports to communicate financial performance and trends to stakeholders.
  • Financial Systems: Utilize software to minimize errors, reduce the amount of manual effort required to deliver regular and ad-hoc reports and simplify the month-end process.
  • Mergers & Acquisitions Support: Collaborate with the corporate development team to analyze the financial viability of potential acquisitions and divestitures. Develop financial models and forecasts to support due diligence and valuation processes.

Technical Skills:

  • Deep understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) as well as international financial reporting standards (IFRS) (Australian parent).
  • General ledger maintenance: Maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy of account balances and proper classification of transactions.
  • Governance: Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, including segregation of duties, authorization procedures, and documentation requirements.
  • Tax: Identify potential tax deductions, credits, or deferrals. Evaluate the tax implications of various business decisions.
  • Proficiency in financial accounting software including Power BI, Oracle EPM, D365, salesforce and Floqast

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in commercial finance, ideally within a financial services or related industry.
  • Proven track record of success in developing and implementing innovative financial solutions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across all levels.
  • Demonstrated experience in business partnering and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical tools (e.g., Excel).
